If you aren’t familiar with my work and I, I am a craftsman and surface design artist and Amber of Amber Joy | Creative Studio. 2021 see’s my business reincarnated from The Craft Compendium and AB.Marquetry to Amber Joy | Creative Studio. This change is the result of my work evolving over the last year and requiring my ‘branding’ to represent this.
Panic ye not! There are still the usual hallmarks of any of my ventures - plenty of marquetry and hand skills. I hope you find my website more ‘back to basics’ and user friendly, along with a reduced range of stock to make it less overwhelming and more reflective of the most popular items sold over the last year. The majority of my products remain unique one-offs but I have also built several preordering custom pieces into the shop to help simplify this process. Plenty more will be added over the coming months.
I intend to upload a monthly blog to update you lovely lot on what is going on with the studio and give a bit of insight into the types of projects I work on in my spare time. That or I will just show off pictures of my dog…

Keeping this first blog entry brief, I want to thank all my wonderful customers for their support and patience over the last year very trying year. I cannot wait to see where the next year takes us!
