Hello, It’s been a funny start to the year. I have found myself going back to my restoration roots as I was commissioned to restore a veneered cards table. The project involved stabilising lots of the veneer, replacing the missing banding, colouring and polishing. It made a nice change from my usual contemporary work so I have decided to re-offer a conservation and restoration service for veneered and marquetry furniture.
